Before the written word was commonplace, our ancestors spoke to each other of all that was -- protecting, honoring, relishing the word as sacred and contemplating how to ensure that the word would survive so that those who followed would be blessed with its knowledge. Rhyme and intuitive thought were used as a source of rememberance.
Thankfully today, through symbols and alphabetic characters, the written word is now everywhere. Not only can we all share in the complexity of thought, rhyme and the physical entity of the word in relation to each other, but we can now all share in its knowledge. The poetry depicted here is but a step along this path.
